You can enjoy pizza with no regret

When you decide to lose some weight and go on a diet, you cut out all fatty and junk food. But cravings are inevitable and are guaranteed to become overwhelming. Sooner or later you give in and go for a pizza. What happens is that you feel guilty. You feel as if you've blown your program, and that guilt usually results in abandonment of any attempts at healthful eating and exercise.

Here's a good news -

It's far better to cheat with foods that provide some valuable nutrition than to go for the empty calories in cookies, cakes, donuts, etc. And pizza is nutritious. While pizza is high in fat and full of refined "fattening" carbs, it also has an ample amount of protein (even more with pepperoni) minerals (lots of calcium in cheese), and if you go for some veggies (mushrooms and peppers) you even get some fibrous carbs and antioxidants. Still, it's not a good choice for every day if you want to lose fat.

Allow yourself one day in a week to enjoy in delicious tasty pizza. If you know your cheat day is Sunday, it's so much easier to convince yourself to stick with your diet and healthy food through the week and wait for the Sunday when you'll eat pizza with no regret.

One trick, you can use: One HCA capsule and one chitosan capsule can minimize the potential for fat accumulation if taken 30 minutes before a pizza. Be careful though - too much fat combined with too much chitosan can lead to intestinal distress. One capsule and one pizza should be fine for most people.

If you want to include the taste of pizza in your diet, here's a recipe for low carb pizza:

Ingredients:

* 6 eggs
* 6 oz cream cheese (3/4 package) at room temperature
* 1 teaspoon garlic powder
* 1½ teaspoon oregano or other Italian seasoning
* ½ teaspoon salt
* pinches of black and/or cayenne pepper
* 1 cup (or a little more) Italian cheeses, at least half of which is a hard cheese (Parmeson, Assagio)

Preparation:
Heat the oven to 350° F.

1) Be sure the cream cheese is at about room temperature. Using a regular blender, food processor, or stick blender, mix the egg and cream cheese until well blended. Add the salt and spices and blend again.

2) Spread cheese in bottom of well-buttered 9x13 pan. Pour egg mixture over the cheese, and bake for 22-25 minutes, or until the top is browning.

3) Remove from oven, add pizza toppings, and bake until done - about another 10-15 minutes.

Makes 8 servings.
Nutritional Information: Each serving has 1.5 grams effective carbohydrate plus 11 grams protein, and 179 calories.

Egg-based crust might sounds strange, but you should try this. It's not regular, but it's really good.

So....anyone for pizza?
