One of the worst ways to lose weight

Meal skipping. If you want to cut calories, eat less, but don't skip meals. You'll probably overeat at the next meal, plus your body will go into "starvation mode" if don't eat enough - that means it will slow down metabolism and store as much fat as possible, for hard times.
Try this; simply keep eating the exact same meals you are currently eating, just cut them in half and eat the second half a couple hours later. You will soon find that you are becoming hungrier more often. This is a great sign that your metabolism is increasing and your body is starting to burn more calories for fat loss.
Never eat till your stuffed, never wait till you're ravenous.
