Drink Beer and Lose Weight

Breakfast

If you don't work then go ahead and Pop 1 beer. It won't hurt. Wait for lunch. Try not to watch the clock! If you start getting weak and hungry, get off your rear, get a bottle of water, or 1 beer if you aren't working, and start walking! It'll help you even more!

Lunch

By lunch time my body would tell me it's time to eat! I was starving! It's time to make your tummy feel "full" again. What was my lunch pick? If I was home I'd have a beer. But - I'd usually pick unsweetened Ice tea with lemon. Next I'd have a bowl of chicken noodle soup or tomato basil soup. And I'd have lots of saltine crackers for filler material. Saltine crackers don't have many fat grams. Like I've said, worry about the fat grams and not the salt content. For my dessert, I'd also order a low fat gram item such as a small order of plain green beans. No bacon grease or butter. Or pick another low fat gram vegetable. Again, you must stay full for this diet to work.

After several days of this, you might want a change. Try eating some chicken noodle soup and a plain old garden salad and no croutons. You can use a limited amount of the "high-octane" thousand-island dressing. It won't hurt. You have to have some kind of flavor for the lettuce, tomato, and cucumbers! Re-fill your unsweetened ice tea glass or water glass. Wait awhile. Hopefully your hunger has been dispelled. If not - grab another handful of the saltines, and hit the road. Beer is on the way!

Dinner

You are leaving work, and you are probably ready to consider eating "road kill!" This would be the toughest time of the day to dispel all thoughts of losing weight. Coach yourself saying, "If I can wait 20 more minutes and have a beer I'll make it!" It can really be hard to wait that long to eat! But after arriving home, drinking a beer will quickly get rid of most all your hunger. Especially that first one! Drink beer!

Are you still hungry? Did you wait 15 minutes? Okay. My final secret. Get out the peanuts! I know they have a lot of fat. But who is perfect? It's great for protein, and the salt goes great with a beer. Don't get carried away. Only a "few" reasonably sized handfuls should do the trick. But drinking beer will be the most satisfying to squelch your appetite!

Snacks

You have to be very careful on this one. When I was at my weakest moments and starving, I'd heat up a can of peas. A can of peas has very low fat grams. It will help fill you up. Or, eat a can of corn. Corn has reasonably low fat grams even though it has a lot of starch. Or, you can make some 5 minute rice and heat up some of "packaged" gravy that has zero fat grams. It'll fill you up. Watch the fat grams! Try sticking with low fat gram vegetables such as carrots, Lima beans, peas, corn, etc. Another nice snack is to eat a bowl of cereal that has low fat grams. But you should try to use skim milk, or at least mix some skim milk with 1% low fat milk. Try to limit the amount of milk.

If you are really serious then you need to exercise. Exercise burns calories and helps you to lose weight. Walk up and down the driveway as much as possible (with a beer in your hand, of course!). Any exercise you can do will help increase your metabolism rate. If your metabolism rate increases - you'll burn more calories - even during your resting state such as sleep.

Pay careful attention to eating foods containing low fat grams. Look at the fat grams on the can or package before you eat it. Snack on low fat gram items. Try to work some exercise in the mix too.
