Big mistake our parents learned us!
All the exercise won't help you lose weight if you won't change your eating habits.
More vegetables and fruit, less fat, five small meals during the day, lots of water... there's a lot of things that should be changed, but it's not that easy if you have a full schedule during the day and the lunch and dinner are cooked for the whole family.
There's one thing you can do, and it's quite easy!
Learn not to eat everything you see. "Eat everything from your plate, we won't throw anything away!" I was told so since childhood! I have never been choosy about the food, so I didn't have any problems to eat the whole lunch my mum prepared. As I get older, I keep this "nice" habit, but unfortunately I didn't keep my weight.
I started to think about diet, but I just couldn't imagine how to eat different and less, if the lunch was cooked in same amount for the whole family. ...and nothing was supposed to be thrown away!
We all know how hard is and how much effort it takes to lose some weight. And we all know, that we gained those extra pounds because of eating too much food.
So I get the idea, that is much more easier to throw away the leavings, than to make an effort and eat the whole meal and than run to the gym, to burn those calories.
So next time you get your meal, just stop eating when you feel you had enough. Put away the rest, thinking how easily you get rid of some extra calories.
